We recomend hardware which has proven, on many occassions, to perform under stress (performance) and to last the distance (reliability). This is just one of the valueable services we provide to save you money over time in Repairs and Replacements.

You can purchase recomended hardware from many retailers however through our extensive network of Distributors and Wholesalers, we can also provide this hardware at very competitive prices.

A. Cheap, likely to offer poor performance and reliability due to aggresive cost cutting at the manufacturing and/or raw materials stage.   B. Perfect. The balance between Cost, Performance and Reliability. Hardware we recomend falls into this category and ultimately depends on your budget.   C. The upper bounds of the Cost vs. Performance and Reliability balance. Will get the best performance and reliability but at a cost.   D. New Release hardware. Introduced at over-inflated prices, and unforunate but true that their second version will normally be better in Cost,     Performance and Reliability. Second version hardware normally falls into Categories B - C.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Contrary to this evaluation, some brands will be of poor performance and reliability with a high price tag due to, quite simpy put, bad business practices providing Higher than average profit margins.

See below for an example of how poor hardware selection (usually without knowing it) can affect your experience on a computer;

Lets say in this example, Jane has a computer with a Top of the Line Processor and Memory; however due to the cost of the CPU and Memory, the computer shop had to settle on a cheap motherboard to bring the cost down.   Often motherboards are poorly chosen by shops to bring the price down because they are either not advertised, or not understood by the customer.   The CPU (Processor, or the Nerve Center of your computer) and Memory (Storage) will be trying to deliver data in 'High Volume' (as illustrated at the top of the figure), but the motherboard is Limited (as illustrated by the Narrowed Section of the pipe) therefore limiting the overall performance to the computers'Narrowest' pipe.

Warranties:

All Computers, Printers and Hardware come with a minimum 12 months Return to Base Warranty unless otherwise specified.

Need Installation?

Not a problem. We can install hardware either on-site or at our office.

If you live within Hamilton then we can offer you a Mobile Installation service through our Techos-to-Go programme. If you live outside of Hamilton or simply prefer to leave it with us; we accept Drop-Off's and Collections in person or via Tracked and Insured Courier.

Shipping:

Shipping is quoted on a case by case basis to ensure that you get the best value in Courier Shipping possible. We do not recomend sending any computers, printers or hardware via un-insured and un-tracked and non-signature methods. We accept no liability for damages done during shipping, or non-signature parcels being left out in the weather.
